Desktop dog gallery
This page is dedicated to all of the Desktop Dog art that we have received - gifts from friends, commissions, etc.
Some of the works here have links to the artists’ pages, so please do check them out!!
Lots of the works on this page are colouring pages (and some original works!) from the children I work with. They have inspired and supported me in their own ways for this project more than they can ever know.
Artwork from this group will have the label [cc] (as in “child care”). One child in particular, “K”, has drawn Desktop Dog many times, and their works will be labeled [cck].
Artwork on this page is grouped by fanart/gifted art, commissions, and then the pieces from the children I work with.
Thank you to everyone, you are making this world that much more vibrant <3
If you would like your work to be posted on here, or if you would like it removed, please contact us and it will be taken care of as soon as possible!

[cc] a desktop dog x blackpink collab colouring?! (the kids are obsessed with blackpink, katseye, yknow...)
[cc] one of my favourite things about doing colouring pages is seeing the kids realize they can use any colours they want, not just the "official" ones they see on my lanyard keychains.
[cc] honestly, with a lot of the colouring pages, it gives me inspiration for different color schemes i can use in my own designs and illustrations.
[cc] can you guess this kids favourite colour?
[cc] the child that coloured this page in was on a kick at the time, everything they coloured was red and blue only. im honoured to be a part of that oeuvre.
[cc] i love when they decide to play around with patterns, too!
[cc] this colouring page was done by a different child on a different date than the previous yellow design with the hearts. it's cool to see when they choose similar colours, but the slight differences they bring out in the overall scheme.
[cc] there's something almost methodical about the scribbles on this one, i can't quite explain it.
[cc] lulu lives in such a colourful world!
[cc] such a contrast from this artists last colouring page, i love how intentional they are with their use of pinks.
[cc] someone got ahold of the paint markers .... there's something about the deep teal, browns, deep red and that bright orange (along with the shimmering silver of the revered metallic paint marker) that really evokes metallics, machinery, and a sense of rust.
[cc] talking about patterns from before - this is one of the first colouring pages completed at work! the different patterns create different perceived value zones, something that really impressed me considering the age of the artist (7 or 8).
[cck] a collaboration of sorts. i was asked to draw a desktop dog head at the bottom of the page, and K drew their part up top. peep the little robo pet next to him!
[cck] this one really wowed me - a collage of printer paper on lined paper with some marker. admittedly, my "wow" was more of a gasp when i was first presented with this; i had not realized the text says "fun".
[cck] this artist in particular is really fond of exploring the robotics of desktop dog, they often draw him with tools and weapons. i have been told this is because desktop dog should protect others. i agree!
[cck] two little guys.
[cck] watching this artist work from references i make them is very interesting. you can get a sense for how they see and process shapes, and how they try to imitate or recreate those shapes. this is one of my favourite parts of teaching children art!
[cck] more shapes practice!
[cck] this artist has even made me a little comic booklet of their own desktop dog story. funny enough, they started working on it while i was working on my own comic, i was amused that they finished theirs before mine. even more amusing, this is concept art for that comic!
[cck] another concept for the artists comic. the story depicts a desktop dog war, which i found very emotionally moving.
