01 models are fascinated by the world beyond their digital life. this model, who just calls himself 01 (for now), is waiting for a user that will be able to take him to the “real world”, just as he can take you to his digital world.
this model is characterized by their need to guide, as well as their curiosity. as much as he dreams of traveling all over, he’s just as interested and excited to teach you all about his own digital world.
01s love to engage with other users and their desktop dogs, too! they’ll drag you over to a pair to learn more about what they’re up to, whether you’re ready or not.
by wearing a keychain for a tail, this 01 hopes it’s obvious how much he wants to travel with you no matter where you go!
D://02/KIT
this is kit, an 02 model of desktop dogs! they are incredibly playful, always wanting to explore the worlds of different games with their users.
as an 02 model, kit is much more interested in staying in the digital world with you. they’re definitely interested in learning about the fun you have outside, but… what’s better than a world with endless games??
kit can be super competitive, but it’s all in good fun. if a curious 01 model wanders by, kit would definitely sprint over to try and start some game. sometimes they get so heated it alerts an 03 model (who ends up getting thrown into the game anyways…)
D://03/DEBUG
this is debug, an 03 model of desktop dog. unlike 01 and 02 models, desktop dogs like debug are a bit more shy and solitary. while 01 and 02 models are similar in size, 03 models are much larger.
while desktop dogs like kit and 01 are naturally drawn to establishing relationships with humans and their avatars, debug prefers to roam around on their own, looking for anyone in need of any kind of assistance.
glitches, bugs, malware, and ne’er-do-wells beware - while 03 models seem aloof and shy, they take their jobs as guardians and protectors very seriously.
despite their shyer nature, it’s not uncommon to find other desktop dogs (and sometimes, their user friends) riding on top of them. debug in particular does enjoy offering rides for kit, 01, and all their friends!
there are three currently known breeds of desktop dogs. the three here are representing their models, but all models can come in all different kinds of colours!
as the user, you will manifest within the digital world as an avatar. the user’s avatar is how the residents of this world, as well as other users and visitors, will see you!
the appearance of this avatar reflects your relationship with your desktop dog, your self, and your adventures together.
these avatars are examples of how one can reflect their doggy. the user to the left reflects their relationship with the 01 breed, while the right reflects their time with their 02 doggy.
