://05 LOG: COMIC AND CONVENTION

hello! it’s been a little bit since a blog update, so welcome back.

firstly - i’ve finally listed the first desktop dog comic, start transfer!!, to the website!!
you can purchase a physical copy of the zine or a digital version.
i hope you enjoy this peak into the beginning of a desktop dog story; not necessarily a true origin or anything, but the beginning of something new for the lives of the characters in it.

secondly, a bit of a bigger update -

desktop dog will have its first convention appearance at halcon this year!!

this is incredibly exciting as it is my first experience vending at a convention!!! more details to come (like where i will be in the artist alley) as we approach november.

for the past few months, and still ongoing, i have been working very hard to make a ton of new products for desktop dog; not just the typical keychain and stickers, but more kinds of products as well. i’ve posted a couple of glimpses of the artworks for said products on the instagram and tumblr, but it’s just the tip of the iceberg of what will be offered.

this little last bit of september + most of october is going to be spent completing the designs and productions of the upcoming goodies.

halcon is in the glorious city of halifax, nova scotia, and takes place from november 6 through november 8.

i am truly so, so excited. every event and market i have brought desktop dog to so far leaves me with so much joy and… well, excitement, that more and more people get to know what desktop dog is. i hope i can keep expanding this silly little world into something others can dream about, too.
